There will be no taxation of any type excepting the import excise which will be a flat rate on all inbound goods. Banking will be private and the market will be largely uninhibited and open. Regulation of any aspect of business will be kept to a bare minimum and only employed for reasons of safety of the public.
Legal issues should be simple, with little legislation, and bold strong statutes making the law easy to interpret. The Common Law legal system should allow litigation to proceed in a simple and logical fashion with reasoned argument winning cases. The tourist trade should boost the economy, with The Crown sponsoring several major festivals each year to help punctuate the seasonal nature of the tourism industry.
Banking and financial services will be available shortly, chartered through international banks in the name of The Principality. Businesses should give thought to the protection of their trading names and other intellectual property.
